Pato O’Ward’s journey in motorsport began with raw talent displayed from an early age. Growing up between Mexico and Texas, he eventually moved to France in 2013 to compete in the French F4 Championship. In 2014, he returned to the U.S. and embarked on the Road to Indy ladder, which paved the way for his current position driving the No. 5 Arrow McLaren Chevrolet in the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.
The production of “The Outbound Life” was a collaborative effort, led by two brothers, Kody and Kyler McCormick, of The Outbound Life production company. Their father, Kevin McCormick, served as the Executive Producer, ensuring the film captured Pato’s lifestyle and the McLaren 765LT Spider’s raw performance aspects in a unique and thrilling way.
