The 12C, McLaren’s first production car since the iconic F1, showcases innovative design and Formula 1™ inspired technologies, making it a versatile and powerful supercar. McLaren’s expertise in carbon fiber, honed over 30 years, is evident in the 12C’s MonoCell chassis, which now takes just 4 hours to produce.
The 12C also features Brake Steer technology, originally developed for Formula 1™, which enhances cornering by managing traction and minimizing understeer and oversteer. This system calculates the optimal cornering path and applies precise braking to the rear inside wheel, allowing the car to pivot smoothly.
